Maggie’s Story

From Stephen Crane’s book, Maggie, a Girl of the Streets . . .

Even though she’s the titled character, Maggie has no real voice in Crane’s novel. She speaks only seventeen times and is interrupted nearly every time and by the men in her life, including her younger brother.

Here, in this meta-fictional short story, Maggie finally speaks.

Coming Late June / Early July on Amazon, as an e-book.
